Marker Trax this week announced that it has hired Wayne Waxman as its new director of marketing. Waxman most recently served as the director of marketing for e-commerce startup The Shipping Store.
“Wayne’s experience in startup tech environments, success in digital and demand generation marketing, and track record of growth made him the perfect fit for the evolution of our product and maturity of our company’s marketing division,” said Marker Trax Chief Marketing Officer Carol Thompson in a statement. “His business acumen and enthusiasm are invaluable assets to our team and to our company. He brings exciting, innovative ideas to the table, and is primed to make an immediate impact.”
Versed in demand generation, digital, and partner marketing, Waxman helped with Coinstar’s E-Payment Services launch of prepaid products in over 1,000 U.S. retail locations. He’s also worked for Intel and Bluetooth SIG.
