Maine casino revenue hits $12.7 million in February, up 9.1%

Maine’s two commercial casinos recorded $12.7 million in revenue for February, up 9.1% year-over-year.

The figures, published by the Maine Gambling Control Unit, show that slots accounted for $11.2 million of the combined figure, up 14.8%, while table games generated $1.5 million, down 19.6%.

Oxford Casino reported the biggest revenue for the month, up 4.3% to $7.3 million. Slots at the casino increased 11.4% to $6.5 million, while table games declined 32% to $785,664.

Hollywood Casino had the highest year-over-year revenue increase of the two, rising 16.4% to $5.4 million. Slots revenue was up 19.9% to $4.6 million, while table games declined 1% to $763,700.
