Light & Wonder Wednesday announced a strategic investment in no-code automation platform Flows. The company stated that the investment “will accelerate growth and scale up operations” for Light & Wonder, which previously used Flows’s technology for an operator-funded jackpot-marketing feature.

“Having witnessed the power of Flows’s technology through its network-jackpots feature, it was a logical next step to invest in its dynamic platform,” said Light & Wonder CEO iGaming Dylan Slaney in a statement. “Flows’s platform is an essential resource for businesses across all sectors of the igaming industry and beyond.”

According to a statement, Light & Wonder is empowering Flows to enter new markets and scale its operations to accelerate potential for significant worldwide growth.

Flows supports businesses through automation software that speeds up development and simplifies integrations, ensuring operational efficiency without the complexities of traditional coding. The company recently launched a voice- and text-activated tool that uses voice or text activations to build complex omnichannel jackpots.

“With the backing of Light & Wonder, we can expedite our path to becoming a worldwide leader in codeless automation solutions,” said Flows CEO James King. “Their support will act as a catalyst, supercharging our growth and innovation across the board and accelerating our mission of making technology accessible and transformative for businesses everywhere.”
