ReelPlay’s popular Hypernova Megaways is coming to the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) for the first time.
That news comes from a deal announced today between Light & Wonder Inc. and ReelPlay to deliver its games to the BCLC, starting with the top-performing slot game. More content will follow as the company expands its footprint in the Canadian province.
Unlike in Ontario, the only province or territory in Canada that has an open igaming market, in B.C., the lottery corporation oversees igaming. In Ontario, players can access Hypernova Megaways on the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation site, as well as NorthStar Bets.
ReelPlay, which has slot games licensed with regulated operators around the world, debuted Hypernova Megaways in Europe in 2018. They added to the franchise with Atlantis Megaways and Big Bucks Bandit Megaways. ReelPlay also recently launched its Infinity Reels series of games and most recently 10K WAYS debuted with 10,000 Wonders 10K WAYS.
