LeoVegas is launching its brand for the first time in the United States through a partnership with Caesars Entertainment.

The Swedish provider of online casino and sports betting services will introduce its platform to New Jersey residents in the first half of 2022.

“The American market has immense growth potential, and players are just now discovering online gaming,” says LeoVegas CEO Gustaf Hagman Monday in a statement.  “In the USA, too, we will focus on what we are best at – offering an innovative, world-class gaming experience directly in mobile phones. Establishing ourselves with our proprietary platform is a strategic decision, and we know from other markets that having full control over our technology is a key competitive advantage.”

Caesars will provide market access in New Jersey for LeoVegas’ suite of games that include live blackjack, poker, and roulette. The gaming operator runs three Atlantic City brick-and-mortar casinos: Harrah’s Atlantic City, Caesars’ Atlantic City, and the Tropicana.

New Jersey’s online gaming market brought in over $1 billion in revenue in 2020, with more than 20 brands offering igaming in the state.

The games will be launched through Rhino, LeoVegas’ proprietary technical platform, pending approval from regulatory authorities in New Jersey. Rhino currently handles more than 10 brands, is licensed for seven jurisdictions, and handles more than 60 game integrations from casino providers, sportsbooks, and more than 30 payment service providers.
