The No. 1 show on Apple TV has a Las Vegas connection.

Pluribus, the Vince Gilligan-created show starring Rhea Seehorn, showcases the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino’s Sky Villas.

“The Sky Villas have always been among the most extraordinary spaces in Las Vegas and seeing them showcased in a series with the creative pedigree of Pluribus is incredibly meaningful for our entire team,” Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino President and General Manager Cami Christensen said in a statement. “The production immediately recognized the cinematic potential of the Villas, and the response from viewers has been remarkable. Westgate’s history has always been tied to entertainment and culture, and this collaboration proudly continues that legacy on a global stage.”

Pluribus, which means ‘many, more’ in Latin, is about an alien hive mind that takes over Earth, except a woman (Seehorn as Carol) and a few others immune to their control.

According to Christensen, the series’ location team toured the Westgate during scouting. Key scenes were filmed inside the Verona and Imperial Sky Villas, showcasing interiors and design

“Once they toured the Sky Villas, the creative team expanded the storyline to make the Villas a central environment in the episode, citing their scale and cinematic potential as unmatched in Las Vegas,” Christensen said.

Christensen noted that the Sky Villa’s expansiveness – 45,000 square feet per villa – and the architectural details provided “a visually rich setting that aligned with the show’s elevated style and narrative tone.”

Christensen added that no one at the Westgate imagined the show’s popularity.

“With Vince Gilligan at the helm, we certainly anticipated Pluribus would make an impact,” Christensen said of the creator of Breaking Bad, “But seeing the level of success — and the way the show has spotlighted Westgate’s legendary legacy — has exceeded expectations.”

The Westgate has a legacy of entertainment performances, including appearances by Elvis Presley. The Vince Gilligan show is the most recent entrée in the Westgate’s history.

“Appearing in Pluribus continues that tradition by showcasing a modern chapter in the resort’s relationship with storytelling, creativity, and filmed content,” Christensen said.
