Harry Reid International Airport released numbers Thursday that showed passenger traffic fell 4.2% in March.

The airport numbers, however, tell only part of the story of what visitation numbers will be for March. The airport numbers include local residents who travel; drive-in traffic from California and other neighboring states will also be factored into the final count.

There were 4.64 million passengers that passed through the airport in March, down from 4.82 million in March 2025. Domestically, there were 4.2 million passengers, down 3.5% from 4.4 million a year ago.

Internationally, there were 265,836 passengers, down 15% from 312,901 a year ago. Canada played a major role with WestJet down 21.8% and Air Canada down 19.8%. Among other Canadian airlines, Porter was down 40.5% and Flair down 68%.
