Las Vegas-based digital-payments innovator Koin has appointed former marketing director Tiffany McGrath as new vice president of corporate communications.

As marketing director, McGrath played a pivotal role in helping the company grow its footprint in the digital-payments sector, the company said. In her new role, she will lead the development, deployment, and management of all communications initiatives, developing new partnerships and increasing the company’s brand awareness.

McGrath joined Koin in 2023 during the company’s start-up phase and was instrumental in initial brand- development initiatives. As the company’s profile and market presence were on the upswing, she also led a significant product-rebranding campaign, helping to elevate Koin’s public presence. Additionally, her expertise has been key in developing and fostering partnerships throughout the industry, bringing digital-payments options to customers around the country, including introducing digital-payments technology to northern Nevada casinos for the first time.

“Tiffany is a dynamic, highly skilled, marketing expert and she’s been instrumental in our company’s success from day one,” said Koin President Gary Larkin. “Her expertise is rooted in an innate ability to translate strategic vision into operational success. She’s a key part of our communications strategies and will help us continue to grow.”

Before joining Koin, McGrath enjoyed a successful career in the banking and payments industries, leading impactful high-profile product and campaign launches along with both public and employee engagement campaigns. Her previous roles included serving as senior manager of product management at Credit One Bank and as marketing manager at Silver State Schools Credit Union, where she helped enhance profitability and improve customer engagement metrics.

Her promotion comes at an important time in both the company’s growth and the industry’s overall evolution, building on the foundation of a reinvestment from corporate partner Euronet Worldwide, Inc., and high-profile partnerships with influential organizations such as TribalHub.

Koin announced that it’s poised to take its next leap at October’s Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas with McGrath “displaying the leadership acumen that has garnered her so much industry respect, leading coordination of the company’s presence at the annual industry showcase, and helping to develop a truly immersive product demonstration environment for attendees.”

Also at G2E this year, company officials will lead a panel on the evolution of the digital-payments industry.
“Tiffany’s leadership is going to help us cross new frontiers in the digital payments sector,” Larkin added.
