Kansas casino gaming revenue was down 4.8% in February, dropping from $34.3 million to $32.6 million year-over-year.
In a report published by the Kansas Lottery, which regulates the four commercial casinos in the Sunflower State, three casinos experienced revenue declines year-over-year.
Hollywood Casino reported the highest gaming revenue last month, $13.2 million. However, compared to the previous year, revenue dropped roughly 1.4% to $13.4 million, the lowest decline of the three casinos.
Kansas Star Casino yielded the second-highest amount, producing $12.4 million in revenue for February. Yet, the casino experienced the most significant decline of the month, with gaming revenue dropping more than 10% year-over-year from $13.8 million to $12.4 million.
Boot Hill Casino generated $3.7 million in February, down 5.9% compared to the previous year’s $3.9 million.
Kansas Casino Crossing was the only commercial casino to report a revenue rise in February. The casino produced $3.3 million, up 4.3% increase from the $3.2 million reported in February 2024.
