Las Vegas-based JCM Global Wednesday announced a collaborative partnership with Giesecke+Devrient for cash processing solutions to count rooms in the gaming industry.
Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) is a global security technology group headquartered in Munich.
JCM stated that the strategic alliance will produce additional market access and opportunities to optimize the end-to-end process in casinos, from drop to asset verifications to reconciliations and audits.
“JCM has a long and successful history in creating partnerships that benefit our customers,” said JCM SVP of Sales, Marketing & Operations Dave Kubajak. “We are thrilled to announce this strategic alliance with G+D and to increase efficiencies in the count room using our combined 100+ years of experience in automated banknote processing.”
JCM also has added an API to communicate between G+D machines and JCM’s FUZION system, which will further help streamline the count process.
“G+D has a significant presence in the casino vertical,” said Giesecke+Devrient VP of Commercial Markets Martin Bauer. “Through the design and implementation of innovative and robust solutions, supported by a strong service organization, G+D has become the go-to partner for count room and cage solutions throughout the US and Canada. We are excited to announce the strategic alliance with JCM.”
JCM will showcase G+D’s BPS C5 verification and sorting solution side-by-side with JCM’s ICB (Intelligent Cash Box) system and ICB ASAP robotics solution, Oct. 9-12 at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas.
According to G+D, the BPS C5 is a compact cash processing system that processes up to 63,000 banknotes per hour and is suitable for all banknote substrates and casino tickets. It features a modular design, various operation modes, and up to 25 output stackers, supporting multiple and complex sorting requirements. Sensors verify and sort banknotes, and system detects counterfeits (including composed banknotes) and sorts by predefined fitness criteria or central bank frameworks.
