The International Center for Responsible Gaming today announced it has received donations of $500,000 from major industry stakeholders.

At the recent Global Gaming Expo, the ICRG also was presented with a $200,000 check from the proceeds of the 25th Annual AGEM & American Gaming Association Golf Classic hosted by JCM Global. The event has raised over $2.8 million to date in support of the ICRG’s  research into gambling addiction.

“These significant contributions from JCM Global and the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians greatly enhance our ability to continue important research and education on gambling disorder,” said ICRG President Art Paikowsky in a statement. “We are immensely grateful for their support and the continued commitment of our industry partners in helping us address and mitigate gambling-related harms.”

The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians donation ceremony was attended by tribal representatives including as Shawnna Nason, Nicole Scott, Jessica Stops, Joseph Maarango, Jacob Coin, Alberto Jasso, and Thomas LeMasters.

Dave Kubajak, SVP of Sales, Marketing & Operations at JCM; AGEM President and CEO Daron Dorsey; the AGA’s Senior Vice President of Strategic Communications Joe Maloney; and the ICRG Senior Fundraiser Joshua Belkin, and Paikowsky, were present at the G2E check presentation.
