International Game Technology’s Luke Orchard is the new board president of the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers, the trade group announced Wednesday.

Orchard, IGT’s senior vice president, chief compliance & risk management officer, begins a two-year term overseeing the AGEM board. The Las Vegas-based organization represents manufacturers and suppliers for all facets of the gaming industry.

Previously an AGEM vice president, Orchard replaces Tom Nieman as president. Nieman, vice president of marketing for JCM Global, will stay on the board as treasurer, which is for a term of one year.

AGEM approved additional one-year terms for: Thomas Jingoli of Konami Gaming, vice president; David Lucchese of Everi Holdings, vice president; Bob Parente, Scientific Games, vice president; Eric Fisher of Crane Payment Innovations, vice president; Mark Dunn of Aristocrat Leisure, secretary; and Daron Dorsey of Ainsworth Game Technology, general counsel.
