- On January 11, an online Powerbucks slots player won CA$1,132,698 playing Wheel of Fortune Elegant Emeralds in British Columbia.
- On January 14, a slot player won $1,374,170 playing an IGT slots game at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut.
- On January 19, an online Powerbucks slots player won CA$1,000,000 playing Wheel of Fortune Ruby Riches in Quebec.
