The merger between gaming suppliers IGT and Everi is starting to yield dividends.

IGT CEO, Gaming Nick Khin will address Global Gaming Expo attendees Tuesday, October 7 at  to celebrate the new enterprise and the return of the company’s global headquarters to Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley will join the celebration at IGT’s booth #3659 at 3:30pm to welcome the company back to Las Vegas and comment on the gaming industry’s vital role in the Las Vegas community.

The event will be hosted by Las Vegas-based actor, host and philanthropist Mark Shunock and include performances by The Drumbots, the official drumline of the Vegas Golden Knights; the Vegas Viva cheerleaders; an appearance by Chance, the official mascot of the Vegas Golden Knights; and the reveal of a new Wheel of Fortune slot game made in Nevada that combines elements from IGT and Everi.

In July, Apollo Global management announced the completion of the acquisition of International Game Technology’s gaming and digital business and Everi. IGT and Everi were integrated into a combined company headquartered in Las Vegas operating under the IGT name while retaining the Everi brand in select markets and product lines.

G2E will be the global debut for the Wheel of Fortune Cash Machine Jackpots game on the MegaTower Rise cabinet. At 11 feet tall, the game melds signature themes and game mechanics from both IGT and Everi.
