IGT extends contract with New York Lottery through August 2022

International Game Technology extended its contract with New York’s lottery by two years, saying Monday the agreement will continue until August 2022.

As part of the contract extension, IGT will deliver 400 new self-service vending machines to the Lottery and continue providing New York with an advanced central system, terminals, and ongoing services.

Financial terms of the contract were not announced. The deal is between IGT subsidiary IGT Solution and the New York Lottery.

In addition to the lottery technology, IGT provides the New York Lottery with the installation and maintenance of the lottery terminals, retailer training, field services, call center support, and instant ticket warehousing and distribution.

“IGT is pleased to extend our long-term partnership with the Lottery and we will do our part to ensure that it continues to set record-breaking sales and maximize its more than $68 billion contribution to education in New York,” said Jay Gendron, IGT Chief Operating Officer, Lottery.
