American gaming company International Game Technology  has announced the availability of its PlayDigital igaming content in Rhode Island, marking its presence in all seven U.S. igaming jurisdictions.
The announcement follows the recent legalization of online casino gambling in Rhode Island after Gov. Daniel McKee signed Senate Bill 948. Rhode Island is the seventh state to offer legal online casinos, alongside Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Michigan, Delaware, Connecticut and West Virginia.
Rhode Island players can access IGT’s PlayDigital content library through the Bally Casino Rhode Island app and on BallyCasino.com.
“Bally Casino is pleased to make IGT PlayDigital’s legendary game portfolio available to our players from the first day of online gaming in Rhode Island. We’ve created a top-tier player experience at Bally Casino that gives players the convenient opportunity to experience many of their favorite IGT slots such as Cleopatraâ„¢, Catsâ„¢ and Wolf Runâ„¢ at any time and from any location inside Rhode Island,” said Craig Eaton, Bally’s Rhode Island Operations president.
IGT PlayDigital is one of only two suppliers offering content in all seven U.S. online gaming jurisdictions.
“IGT PlayDigital is thrilled to extend the reach of our market-leading games and promotional tools portfolio to players in Rhode Island via our strategic partnership with Bally’s Corp.,” said Gil Rotem, IGT president of igaming. “As a long-time lottery and gaming supplier in Rhode Island, IGT is deeply committed to propelling the success of igaming in the state and delivering highly entertaining games such as Cash Eruption and Fortune Coin that are proven to drive player engagement.”
This week, casino game supplier White Hat Gaming also partnered with Bally’s Corp. to debut its player account management system in Rhode Island.
