International Game Technology Friday announced that two employees were honored by the Women in Gaming Diversity Awards.
Jennifer Bowman, IGT Senior Director EMEA and LAC Marketing, Gaming, received the Outstanding Contribution award. IGT Vice President Field Services, Call Center & Technology Operations Shondra Deloach-Perea was honored with the Innovation in Employee Engagement award.
The awards were announced Sept. 10 at the Londoner Hotel in London.
“I’ve had the opportunity to work with Jennifer Bowman and Shondra Deloach-Perea for several years now and both individuals are experts in their fields, genuinely care about their colleagues and leverage their skills and passions for the advancement of IGT and others,” said IGT CEO Global Gaming Renato Ascoli in a statement. “IGT is fortunate to have employees as talented and committed as Jennifer and Shondra, and I am grateful to see the Women in Gaming Diversity Awards recognize them for their contributions to IGT and beyond.”
Bowman has more than 20 years of experience in the gaming industry and has held leadership roles in compliance, product management, event production, sales enablement and marketing. An advocate for the advancement of women in the workplace, Bowman is the IGT ambassador to the U.K. chapter of The United Nations Global Compact —Target Gender Equality program and speaks at industry events to shares insights about her career in the gaming industry.
Deloach-Perea has worked 13 years in the gaming industry in regulatory and supplier roles. She is involved in IGT employee engagement programs including the Global Diversity & Inclusion Council; the Women’s Inclusion Network (WIN with IGT) as a co-chair; as a sponsor with the NexGen diversity and inclusion group; as an IGT Las Vegas Leadership Council member; and as a member of the company’s talent retention and acquisition program that prioritizes diversity and inclusion.
