International Game Technology and Ruby Seven Studios Thursday announced an agreement to expand the social casino gaming company’s content library. IGT games, including Wheel of Fortune Slots, Top Dollar Premium, and Wolf Run Eclipse, will be available through Ruby Seven’s suite of social casino applications.
To play games via Ruby Seven’s social casino apps, which are available on iOS, Android, or via a web browser on PCs and other devices, players must buy credits which are then spent similarly to coin-in/ticket-in on a slot machine. But social casino games do not pay out and are therefore legal across the country – players can earn more credits to play their favorite games.
“We are excited to expand the Ruby Seven Studios content portfolio with a great selection of IGT games,” said Michael Carpenter, Ruby Seven Studios Founder and CEO Michael Carpenter in a statement. “This IGT content includes some of the biggest and most popular names in slots, and now our partners will be able to offer it to players in their favorite social casinos.”
IGT Vice President Global Licensing and Social Casino Gaming Jennifer Fales noted that Tribal casinos partnering with Ruby Seven Studios “have experienced great success with the land-based versions of these games.”
“IGT is very pleased to establish this relationship with Ruby Seven Studios as we expand the offering of our proven land-based and online casino gaming content in the social casino space,” Fales said.
