The International Gaming Standards Association Friday announced that Intel is now a Silver member of the organization. According to the IGSA, Intel has demonstrated a commitment to work collaboratively to solve gaming industry issues and challenges.

“IGSA welcomes Intel to our membership,” said IGSA President Mark Pace in a statement. “While not a traditional gaming company, Intel’s products and services are used broadly within the gaming industry. We hope that other technology providers partnering with gaming industry companies recognize the valuable input they could provide to the creation of Standards and best practices.”

The IGSA stated that experts such as Intel Partnerships and Alliances Manager for Venues and Gaming Industries Camilo Dennis will work with the organization and discuss topics related to the application of artificial intelligence, segment resiliency, and standards. Through its membership, Intel can contribute ecosystem expertise, technology resources, and industry collaboration.
