“Peter DeRaedt’s legacy is profound, having steered IGSA through numerous challenges and opportunities,” said IGSA Chairman Earle G. Hall in a statement. “His foresight and leadership have been pivotal in shaping an industry that is dynamic and ever evolving. He leaves behind a robust and well-respected organization, poised for continued success and innovation.”
According to a release, the IGSA developed numerous standards that were adopted worldwide and had positive transformational impacts on many gaming companies.
Current IGSA Vice President Mark Pace will become acting resident. Pace has been with the IGSA for more than 20 years and has served as committee chair, treasurer, and vice chairman of the board, as well as founder and managing director of GSA Europe.
The IGSA board will conduct a thorough vetting process before announcing the formal appointment of the next president at its first meeting of 2024.
