The International Gaming Standards Association Monday announced the appointments of Earle G. Hall as chairman and Nimish Purohit as vice chairman for 2023. Paul Burns, ALC ex-officio, will serve as treasurer.

The IGSA also introduced newly elected members to its board of directors, including Oregon Lottery Chief Information Officer Syed Hussain, Playtech Director of Technical Compliance Martin Pedak, and Light & Wonder Vice President, Research & Development Keshave Pitani.

Hall, president and CEO of Axes.ai, previously served as IGSA vice chairman.

“Having Earle move from vice chair to chair is exciting,” said IGSA President Peter DeRaedt in a statement. “His enthusiasm, vision and passion for our industry is infectious. We are equally thrilled that Nimish Purohit (Aristocrat Gaming Global VP of Quality) has stepped up to the vice chair role. Teamwork is the theme for this year as we tackle new standards and challenges in our industry and our team could not ask for a better board of directors to support our agenda.”

“I am honored to represent the prestigious global membership of this fine organization,” Hall said. “Our industry needs us more than ever. The acceleration of artificial intelligence, payments, cloud, and security issues require new standards to support our members and our regulators. This year will be a great year and we plan to serve our members with pride, diligence, and proximity.”
