AGS is going big at the Indian Gaming Association Tradeshow, with a large-format cabinet featuring a 75-inch screen and a unique progressive jackpot linking three-reel slot formats, along with award-winning table-game progressive systems.

The expanded booth and the breadth of its offerings, including table game and igaming products, in addition to a broad slot selection, illustrate how AGS has expanded since its founding 20 years ago as American Gaming Systems.

“The highlight is variety,” said Mark DeDeaux, senior vice president and general manager of slots for AGS. His division will spotlight Class II and Class III games in core and premium titles and in video and stepper formats.

“That really is illustrative of how much we’ve grown our product portfolio in both cabinets and form factors as well as content,” he said.

The IGA display will include two slot lines that debuted this month on casino floors.

  • Lion Cash currently has two titles, Emperor Zhang and Princess Pingyang. They will be shown on the AGS Spectra SL75+ cabinet, which boasts the 75-inch screen, and on the Spectra SL49+ Premium cabinet.
  • Diamond Nudge premiered March 17 at Graton Resort & Casino and is the first AGS stepper game with a reel nudge feature, shifting reels by two or three positions depending on the position of select symbols. It’s in the Revel cabinet, introduced at the 2024 IGA and consistently ranking high in slot-performance reports.

Another AGS innovation to be spotlighted at IGA is the So Hot linked progressive, available on select games across the Revel and multiple Spectra cabinets. Unlike typical progressive jackpots, this link can include both three-reel video games and three-reel steppers across various hardware configurations, DeDeaux said. The progressive link can be within a single casino or spread to multiple properties in the same network.

On the table-game front, AGS will feature its Bonus Spin Xtreme options for poker rooms and high-stakes baccarat. The baccarat version, Bonus Spin Xtreme Red Dragon, has a minimum prize of $588. The poker-room version pays a bonus for a three-card flop forming a straight, trips, or straight flush. The jackpots can be linked to multiple tables of the same game or extend throughout a table-game pit.

AGSi, the company’s online real-money gaming division, is a global leader in that space, with the latest Eilers & Krejcik U.S. online-game performance report ranking it as the top new overall supplier for the fifth consecutive month and as top new slot supplier for the eighth straight month. The report also ranked AGSi as the top indexing slot supplier. AGSi recently launched online games in Brazil, making it available in 10 countries and five U.S. states.

Tribal operators have played a vital role in the company’s growth, DeDeaux said. The company was founded with a focus on providing Class II slots to tribal operators in Oklahoma, where it still has its primary manufacturing facility. Over the years, AGS has grown into a leading supplier of slot games in all Class II jurisdictions and a global supplier of all types of gaming products, including HHR.

“We have a rich history in working with tribal customers,” he said. “We’ve been able to take the things that made AGS great in tribal markets and translate that into elements that contribute to our success in all markets.”

The Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention, the longest running gaming trade show, will run from March 31 through April 3 in San Diego. The DigitalPlay Summit, featuring igaming and sports betting exhibits and content sessions, will be April 2 and 3. AGS will be in booth 741.
