Idaho: Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort donates $55K to area charities through July

Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel in Idaho announced on Thursday that it has contributed over $55,000 to local and regional organizations through July 2024, bringing its total charitable giving to more than $35 million since opening in 1993.

“Philanthropy is not just an initiative; it’s a core value that drives us every day,” said CEO of Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel CEO Laura Penney in a statement. “We’re incredibly proud to support these organizations that play such crucial roles in our community. It’s about more than just giving; it’s about making a lasting impact.”

Among the recipients are Hometown Heroes ($20,000), Tools 2 Schools ($10,000), and Inland Northwest Honor Flight ($10,000).

Also receiving funds are:

  • Giving Back Spokane
  • Kootenai Humane Society
  • Help Every Little Paw
  • Helping Captives
  • Rockford Little League
  • Safety Net
  • Chicks and Chaps
  • Safe Passage
  • Excel

The donations will fund essential services and programs that benefit veterans, students, and those in need of critical assistance throughout the region.
