The gambling industry conference is the biggest on record, with attendees packed into more than 51,400 square meters (approximately 553,000 square feet) of convention space.

Clarion Gaming Managing Director Stuart Hunter said the conference’s opening day met expectations and confirmed its status as a premier international event.

“I am delighted that so many visitors from so many parts of the world appear to be with us on the opening day,” Hunter said. “ICE has a fantastic energy. There’s a proliferation of new ideas, world-beating networking opportunities, and of course the very best concentration of gaming innovators and suppliers to all sectors of the business.”

Indian Gaming Magazine Editor Robert Page said the opening day atmosphere was “electric. I think international visitors are thrilled to be here and doing business,” said Page, who was making his sixth trip to ICE.

“From a tribal perspective, ICE represents a unique opportunity to discover innovations that can help tribal businesses. … I’m delighted to see the evolution and growth in Tribal communities coming to London and visiting ICE.”
