In a statement, the company said the objective was to beef up the casino’s “one-of-a-kind offerings,” further establishing itself as a premier entertainment hub in Toronto. The casino-resort, which opened in June 2023, is Canada’s largest.

“With these unique amenities available exclusively to our VIP gaming customers at Great Canadian Toronto, the customer experience at Canada’s newest and largest casino resort has taken another tremendous step forward,” said Matt Anfinson, Chief Executive Officer of Great Canadian Entertainment, in a statement.

The tables-game room will feature 26 live tables including single-zero roulette, blackjack with four tables, baccarat with four tables, and high-stakes private tables offering unlimited Free Hands for uninterrupted play.

Additional perks include a dedicated VIP cage with player gaming account services and cash-advance options, VIP host office and customer lounge, a VIP lounge and dining area, as well as single-user washrooms for added comfort.

Plans are also under way for an outdoor patio with a view of Woodbine racetrack.

The new slot area has doubled in size to 5,700 square feet, with over 220 premium slot machines, including Madame X, Wild Frontier, Lightning Cash, Dragon Cash, and Buffalo Link. Also featured are 17 multi-game video poker and blackjack machines, like Game Maker and Game King.

There will be a dedicated redemption center with player gaming account services and cash advance options there as well, guest-services kiosk, and VIP cage.

Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto opened in June 2023 at a price tag of $1 billion and has 328,000 square feet of gaming space, a 400-room hotel, wellness and fitness area, multiple dining options, indoor pool, and a 5,000-person theatre, a live entertainment venue in partnership with Live Nation, which books in live music, comedy and special events.
