Igaming company Golden Matrix Group has announced that subsidiary Expanse Studios has launched its first social casino game, Beach Penalties, which centers around a soccer penalty shootout on a sunny beach.
Beach Penalties offers three levels players can move between as they play, including Regular Scorer, Expert Scorer and Expert Goalkeeper, each with increasing challenges and rewards. The game caters to varying preferences, with the option to select Return To Player percentages ranging from 96.5 to 97.5 percent. Additional features include jackpots and tournaments.
“The launch of Beach Penalties is an exciting development for Expanse Studios as we enter the social gaming market for the first time,” Expanse Studios CEO Damjan Stamenkovic said in a news release. “Social casino games represent a significant opportunity for growth, and Beach Penalties allows us to showcase our ability to create engaging, accessible content that resonates with a wide audience. We look forward to further expanding our social casino offerings and pursuing new opportunities in this thriving market.”
The game’s introduction comes amid the growth of the social gaming sector. According to the Business Research Insights, the social casino market is expected to reach more than $39.95 billion by 2032, led by growth in Asia Pacific and North America.
“The demand for social gaming continues to rise, particularly among younger generations seeking entertainment with a casual, stress-free appeal,” Golden Matrix said in the release.
This latest announcement comes weeks after Golden Matrix announced that Expanse Studios is applying for a New Jersey Casino Service Industry Enterprise license.
