Gaming Laboratories International Wednesday announced the addition of two new members to its client solutions and client services teams

Steve May joins the Las Vegas-based provider of testing, certification, and professional services as a client solutions executive. Samuel Grunther will be an account executive.

Before joining GLI, May was the executive director the Minnesota Racing Commission. He has also worked as Kentucky Horse Racing Commission Director of Pari-Mutuel Wagering and Compliance, and is accredited to officiate thoroughbred, quarter horse, and harness races in North America.

“Steve May has been a successful problem-solver throughout his career, and we are fortunate to have him join the GLI team,’ said Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and General Counsel Kevin Mullally in a statement. “He is known for playing an essential role in developing a regulatory framework for historical horse racing. However, his technical acumen and knowledge of developing and implementing compliance programs will greatly benefit a wide array of our clients. He has earned the trust of both regulators and the industry, and we are grateful to have him on the team.”

Grunther has an extensive background in igaming and sports betting. His previous roles included client relations and conversations specialist for IT services and consulting firm Conduet, a customer operations agent for FanDuel, a guest relations operator at Madison Square Garden, and ticket operations associate for the New York Yankees.

“Sam’s strong knowledge and understanding of the sports media landscape, coupled with his experience collaborating cross-departmentally within companies spanning igaming and sports betting, will allow him to hit the ground running and immediately contribute to satisfying the needs of our quickly growing list of valued clientele,” said GLI Vice President of Client Services Salim L. Adatia in a statement.
