Galaxy Gaming appoints Michael Ratner executive VP of product

Galaxy Gaming Monday introduced Michael Ratner as the company’s new executive vice president of product. Ratner was most recently the senior director of sales enablement for IGT.

“Michael’s experience, leadership, and disciplined approach to product management will contribute to our continued growth and success in the gaming industry as we double-down on the products in our library and those in our development pipeline.”

A native of South Africa, Ratner began his career with Sun International, serving in technical and managerial roles. After moving to the U.S., he worked in product management for Atronic, Paltronics, Bally Technologies, and Konami.

Ratner will be charged with working on the next generation of table-game technology for Galaxy.
