Blacks comprise about 19% of all workers in the gaming industry, according to American Gaming Association research.
The annual African Americans in Gaming G2E Happy Hour, September 29 at G2E, will be an opportunity for Blacks and their allies to share their accomplishments, concerns, and insights.
“The African Americans in Gaming Happy Hour at G2E is an annual opportunity for AAG members, allies, supporters and friends to reconnect, network and celebrate the contributions Black professionals make to this industry every day,” said Dyani Marvel, vice president, Marketing Strategy & Operations at Wondr Nation.
“Highlighting diversity in gaming, whether that is African Americans, women, members of the LGBTQ+ community and others, reminds us that we all have a place in this industry and we are a community that is at its best when everyone is seen.”
The Happy Hour will take place at The Strip, Hall D – G2E Networking Lounge at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas.
