Full House Resorts has appointed Jeff Michie Vice President and General Manager of the Rising Star Casino Resort in Rising Sun, Indiana, replacing Angi Truebner-Webb, who has been named General Manager of the company’s Silver Slipper Casino Hotel in Hancock County, Mississippi.
The company has proposed relocating the Ohio Valley casino on the Kentucky state line 160 miles north to the Fort Wayne area, and is in discussions with local officials about site selection and other preliminaries.
Michie joins Rising Star from Casino del Sol in Tucson, Arizona, where he was Chief Financial Officer. Michie oversaw Casino del Sol’s finance, surveillance and golf course departments.

Michie also has served in senior management positions for casinos in the region, including as Senior Vice President of Operations and Finance of Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati and Assistant General Manager and Chief Financial Officer for Belterra Casino Resort & Spa in Cincinnati, Ohio. Michie also has served as General Manager of Belle of Baton Rouge Casino & Hotel in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Horizon Casino & Hotel in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
Full House Resort’s board approved a grant of an inducement equity award of 19,921 restricted shares to Michie. Subject to his continuing service through the vesting dates, one-third of the number of shares will vest on each of November 11, 2025, 2026 and 2027.
The board’s compensation committee also approved grants of inducement equity awards to two other employees. Kimberly Bender and Katelynn May were each granted 4,107 restricted shares. For Bender and May, one-third of the number of shares will vest on each of November 12, 2025, 2026, and 2027, subject to their continuing service through the vesting dates.
