Quick Custom Intelligence is continuing its rapid expansion globally, now operating in 17 countries while actively developing business opportunities in 10 additional markets.
QCI has pioneered the revolutionary QCI Enterprise Platform, a generative artificial intelligence (AI) driven platform that seamlessly integrates player development, marketing and gaming operations with powerful, real-time tools designed specifically for the gaming and hospitality industries.
“When we started, we knew we needed a product that could deliver value to any organization, regardless of its size or complexity,” said Andrew Cardno, QCI’s CTO and co-founder. “By designing a nimble platform that could serve the entire U.S. market, we gained invaluable experience working with smaller properties. Now, as we expand into Europe—where most properties are smaller—we’re seeing an overwhelmingly positive response.”
With a footprint spanning 30 U.S. states and 90 tribal nations, QCI’s continued growth cements its position as a global leader in casino and resort intelligence. According to Cardno, the company’s expansion has happened organically, driven by market demand and the effectiveness of its solutions.
A native of New Zealand, Cardno has always maintained an international perspective. QCI’s global expansion began in Australia in 2021, and in just the past year, the company has entered 10 new countries. According to Cardno, this growth not only diversifies the business but also strengthens it. “In software, scale is crucial,” he noted. “A larger company means greater investment in research and development, which drives more innovation.”
“Our presence in 17 countries is proof of the universal value our solutions provide,” Cardno said. “We’re seeing strong validation of our business model across diverse markets, demonstrating that our technology not only adapts to regional needs but also maintains its core strength in data-driven decision-making. As we continue growing, our commitment remains the same—delivering unparalleled analytics that drive operational excellence.”
One of the key drivers of QCI’s success is its generative cognitive offloading technology, which enables operators to make complex decisions using real-time data intelligence—without the need for manual query building. “The Chatalytics graph and query builders have been especially well received,” Cardno said. “They provide a groundbreaking way for operators to interact with their data using natural language and intuitive visualizations.”
“This next-generation tooling ensures that decision-makers can effortlessly explore insights, refine queries, and drive actions with unprecedented speed and accuracy,” Cardno said.
QCI’s expansion is bolstered by strong strategic partnerships, including its collaboration with Modulus, a leading international technology firm. As one of the world’s largest independent gaming management system providers, Modulus operates in 40 countries across Europe, Africa, South America, Canada and Asia.
“This level of global adoption underscores the effectiveness of QCI’s platform in optimizing gaming and hospitality operations,” said Marc Attal, COO of Modulus. “We are excited to see QCI’s solutions enhancing data activation, operational efficiency and customer engagement across multiple continents. The ability to offload complex analytical tasks onto generative cognitive models, coupled with the Chatalytics intuitive graph and query builders, is transforming how operators interact with their data.”
Reflecting on his return to the ICE show in Europe post-pandemic, Cardno noted a dramatic shift compared to his last visit. “The industry is moving forward with a strong desire for innovation,” he said.
“They were innovative and moving, and our commitment to the nimble product and with the building of the team and product in North America, we’re seeing the same response all around the world,” Cardno said. “I think we’ll be in 50 to 70 countries in three years. I can see it growing in the next three to four years to 30% to 40% of the total business.”
