JCM, the world leader in transaction and payment technologies, has reached a milestone by surpassing 300,000 machines using its systems technology.

JCM is constantly focusing on developing new systems that help customers do business faster, more efficiently and more accurately while at the same time improving the customer experience. Reaching that 300,000 milestone in slot machines speaks to that success for JCM, who makes the bill acceptors and printers inside of slot machines.

“With our systems now, we’re operating in 13 different countries and four continents, so JCM is constantly developing our software in three different time zones and it’s happening 24/7,” said Chris Blevens, JCM’s product manager of systems.

Systems’ technology isn’t the first thing people think of about JCM, but the company has a strong foundation with its bill validator and ticket printing products.

“Reaching this number globally shows we’re a big player on the system’s side, and that we want to give people a better experience using the JCM products they already have,” said Katie Gehrke, marketing and communications manager. “Our systems take things to the next level with their operations and gives them access to more data with their machines and devices. We want to remind people we have these technologies to help them improve their operations.”

JCM is known for FUZION, Intelligent Cash Box System (ICB), PromoNet, Ticket2Go, and TITA.

The ICB system evolves cash management and asset management that empowers casinos with better, smarter, and faster data than ever before, and its intuitive design streamlines and simplifies cash box collection, saving time and labor. ICB’s dashboard, mobility and customizable web reporting allows casinos to access essential information securely anytime and anywhere, Blevens said.

Without using a smart cash box, casinos are using a barcode or label, and that slows down the process and introduces the possibility of error when tracking cash boxes, he explained. ICB has data that allows operators to do an audit.

FUZION is built to help casinos manage their cash, getting it off the floor and to the count room. FUZION adds to that process of being able to see all of the cash on the floor. As those cash boxes are filling up, they will receive alerts before those cash box-full errors start affecting their guests.

“The ability to be able to streamline the process of collecting cash boxes and making it simpler and eliminating mistakes is what we’ve been focusing on,” Blevens said. “It’s about how we can make the whole process for the count room and drop team more efficient. We don’t want them to take short cuts and make mistakes.”

FUZION, which has been adding security modules, continually monitors every JCM peripheral device in each EGM in real-time to help keep the casino running at peak efficiency and guard against suspicious activity and send alerts to security, said Blevens.

“With FUZION, we’re taking the baseline of ICB and then providing real-time monitoring of those devices,” he said. “Our ICB customers have always asked for being able to know what’s currently in the cash box so they can preemptively grab it before it causes a disruption on their casino floor.”

With FUZION, customers get reports on how efficiently operations are going, such as how long it takes to go retrieve cash boxes and how much was retrieved.

“They can determine the ROI for all that effort of collecting their cash boxes,” Blevens said. “We’ve taken our systems to the next step, so it’s just not about that baseline performance, but we want to be able to highlight now well their team is reducing errors.”

JCM continues to enhance FUZION with additional features. We’ve added cashless technology that has been GLI-approved in multiple states so anyone who has the FUZION system can choose which payment method they would like to use, Blevens said. It’s about giving players more options when they are at the machines, he added.

PromoNet is a patented technology, delivering the right promotion to the right customer at the right time. It allows operators of all sizes to identify high-value anonymous players, direct promotions to the most valuable players, enhance player experience, and maximize results using business analytics. It’s field-proven to increase the amount of play and decrease unearned awards, said Blevens.

The TITA table game solution optimizes operations, increases funds access, and improves cash flow. Players can easily redeem tickets for chips, access funds via debit card with the point of sale, and convert winnings into tickets, all directly at the table. TITA also enables operators to monitor live transactional activity, Blevens noted.

Ticket2GO is JCM’s innovative and market-leading ticketing solution developed for AWP/low payout machines, providing a networked ticket in/ticket out solution as well as the proven networkless ticket payout feature.
