CasinoTrac systems by Table Trac, Inc. is touting the success of its new SlotSUITE solution, the company’s elevated operator and customer experience that will be showcased at G2E in Las Vegas.
CasinoTrac provides a software-based integration on top of the existing CasinoTrac CMS network with an umbrella of expanded core features. It’s bolstered by an integration with TransAct Technologies’ Epicentral SE platform, Epic 950, and Epic Edge TITO printers.
SlotSUITE differs from other marketing coupon platforms by operating on existing CasinoTrac CMS networks with no additional infrastructure or in-game hardware required. SlotSUITE provides real-time, dynamic player engagement at the game, manages and delivers casino management-system-driven drawing tickets, vouchers, offers and coupons at the game. SelfPAY enhances the jackpot process by producing CMS-populated W2G and 1042 forms for enrolled players. It creates the ability to communicate with uncarded and unknown players using session-based metrics.
SlotSUITE creates major efficiencies for the casino operator with more time on device and less or no staff required for hand pays and taxable events. It creates self-service opportunities for players to take control of their experience.
Chad Hoehne, CEO and President of Table Trac, said they’ve virtualized an existing technology and made it practical for operators by partnering with TransAct.
“It’s a software-based, single-wire implementation that allows the couponing process to operate across the CasinoTrac gaming floor without having to deploy an additional network or hardware in the games by utilizing this partnership and solution,” he said.
The technology collaboration allows operators to have a single point of promotion administration to design and deliver promotional coupons, rewards, free-play tickets and other types of documents coming from the printer at the game, including tax documents, Hoehne reiterated.
CasinoTrac provides mobile app technology that automates the player engagement and loyalty functions for that group of patrons that will adopt and enjoy having a mobile app experience, he said.
“We also realize there’s a valuable group of customers who are not interested in adopting mobile-app technology; SlotSUITE is tailored for those patrons by serving promotions, offers and surprises to carded and uncarded guests at their game and in their hands,” said Hoehne. “That’s where the value of SlotSUITE comes in. It’s a complementary technology on your gaming floor and geared for those who aren’t going to get excited about getting credits delivered on their mobile app but who instead are your plastic-card players.”
CasinoTrac’s SlotSUITE was deployed to assist a large tribal casino in the Southwest with more than 2,500 games, and it enhanced operational efficiency while elevating the player experience, Hoehne said.
“It allowed the operator to engage in a one-on-one way with the guest on the gaming floor and provide promotions that might otherwise not be available,” he noted. “For instance, we have a floor-wide mystery bonus that we play on the gaming floor and the winner is delivered a restricted-play, free play ticket at the game when it is hit at the target level for the various mystery bonus progressives.”
This solution addressed a challenge of the primary pool of casino players being distrustful of the merits and benefits of a loyalty card and even more skeptical of digital solutions, Hoehne said.
“This was driven by a customer who had significant issues with paper drawing barrels and participation from their highest players who were getting lots of tickets,” he explained. “They would love to participate but didn’t want to sit there and fill out their name on 100 tickets. That was the problem we sought to solve, and it expanded out to so much more.”
If a physical barrel was traditionally used, each ticket had to be removed and counted after the promotion, and Hoehne said imagine counting almost one million tickets. This manual process was time-consuming and prone to errors.
“We have a lot of customers, where it tends to be more prevalent that the clientele doesn’t trust electronic barrel drawings,” Hoehne said. “They want the paper barrel but no one wants to sit there and fill out tickets with their name, address and cell phone number. We’re using Epicentral and SlotSUITE to deliver barrel drawing entities to customers delivered on their play level and right into their hands at the game. It has proven to increase card usage and length of play on floors where we have it. People are going to play up until they get that last ticket before they leave.”
Since it’s frictionless for patrons, that means casinos are going to get their attention and players are going to grab the paper, whether it’s a promotion, drawing barrel ticket, free-play ticket or coupon for free food or drinks, he said.
The corresponding case study cited how casino management implements a highly successful manual drawing drum car giveaway in which players earn physical drawing tickets based on the points they earn from slot play, Hoehne said.
