Aruze Gaming is making a splash with the introduction of its Muso Curve-55HB cabinet that was featured at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas.

The Muso Curve-55HB is a part of Aruze’s premium core line, delivering a design-focused, beautiful and alluring product for casino floors. The cabinet has been recognized by Eilers & Krejcik as the top-performing portrait cabinet, and over the last two months has generated a lot of positive attention.

Lesley Hodges, senior director of marketing at Aruze, said the cabinet has been shipped to 14 states and 55 properties so far with more growth coming. It’s expected to eventually be sent to Canada, Latin America and other parts of the world.

The Muso Curve-55HB has a stunning new honeycomb LED display to attract players, Hodges said. It’s crafted with thoughtful touches to keep players comfortable and designed for an unparalleled 55-inch full screen dynamic gaming experience, she added. It reflects the evolution and modernization of gaming, bringing the transformative player experience that truly attracts and engages patrons.

“The 55-inch vertical curved screen and honeycomb lights on the side caught the attention of people at G2E,” said Hodges. “Because of the pattern and different kinds of lights we have in there, it’s eye-catching on the floor. It’s a deep-black cabinet with honeycomb lights and visuals that are super crisp and beautiful.” The cabinet is designed to stand out on casino floors, pulling in players with its larger-than-life immersive screen and crisp visuals.

Hodges noted that there are a number of game titles on the cabinet already and that performance has been “super strong and above house average” everywhere it’s been installed so far. While the cabinet is equipped with the most up-to-date video slot technology, it also houses one of Aruze’s Activ-Play titles, Rock Paper Paper Scissors Instant Win. Activ-Play is unique to Aruze; unlike a video slot it requires players to make choices or follow rules, but still follows the same RNG technology of a slot.

“The reaction has been great and sales have been strong,” Hodges said. “The Muso Curve is larger than what we’ve done before, and the lights make it stand out. It’s a core cabinet with a premium feel. It makes players feel comfortable.”

While the cabinet is attracting players, Hodges emphasized that the games are important to back up its look. Aruze has released X-Wheel Supreme God & X-Wheel Supreme Dragon that features special bonus symbols that trigger additional spins and large bonus prizes.

Aruze plans on expanding the titles available on the Muso Curve to include more Activ-Play and traditional video slots.

“The cabinet is drawing people in with its look, but the games are making people want to stay and play,” Hodges said.

Going into next year, Aruze has eight titles scheduled to come out. It recently installed Rock Paper Scissors on the Muso Curve at Circa Las Vegas.

The goal is to cater to traditional slot players along with drawing in younger players.
