FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek, Mich., has appointed R. Randall Riccardo as its general counsel.
With a legal career spanning more than three decades, including roles at Wind Creek Casino and Resorts and as a partner at a New York City law firm, Riccardo brings extensive expertise in gaming, corporate law, and intellectual property.
Riccardo is also a longstanding member of the Silicon Valley legal community and has represented a diverse range of clients, from tech giants to start-ups, in matters including internet law, licensing, and intellectual-property issues.
In addition to representing corporate interests, Riccardo has years of experience representing the wrongfully incarcerated, the mentally and physically handicapped, and children. He has comprehensive experience in appellate law, both civil and criminal, and has successfully prosecuted petitions for habeas corpus in both state and federal court. Riccardo has bar qualifications in multiple jurisdictions and is admitted to various federal courts.
