EBET Wednesday announced that Jon Najarian has joined the company as an advisor.
Najarian has 40 years of experience in the securities and futures markets and is co-founder of MarketRebellion.com and a regular contributor on CNBC Business TV. Formerly a linebacker with the Chicago Bears, Najarian became a trader on the Chicago Board Options Exchange after his playing career ended and was a member of the NYSE, CME and CBOT during his 25 years as a floor trader.
“We are delighted to welcome Jon Najarian as an advisor,” said EBET CEO Aaron Speach in a statement. “His vast experience will undoubtedly provide EBET with strategic insight that will help shape the direction and further success of the company.”
Formerly Esports Technologies, the Las Vegas-based EBET adopted its new name in May 2022 “to better reflect the company’s business and mission,” according to a previous press release.
With his brother Pete Najarian, Jon Najarian developed the “Heat Seeker” algorithm to identify unusual options trading activity. With MarketRebellion.com, Najarian provides education on trading options and other securities. He also is a co-founder of TradeMonster, an online brokerage firm that was sold in 2016 to E*TRADE Financial Corp. for $750 million.
