The Mohegan Sun Poker Room starts the season with the return of the Summer Kickoff Poker Tournament June 12-14. The $400 buy-in no-limit hold’em event features a $75,000 guaranteed prize pool.
On-site registration for the Summer Kickoff Poker Tournament will be in the poker room starting at 9:15 a.m. before each flight and will remain open until the beginning of level seven. Players start with 25,000 in chips, with the option for a 5,000-chip add-on for $10.
Later in June, Mohegan Sun Poker will host the Juneteenth High Hand Special, offering players the chance to win prizes from noon to midnight during the holiday. On June 19, qualifying high hands every 20 minutes between noon-2 p.m. and 10 p.m.-midnight will win $1,000. The qualifying high hand every 20 minutes between 2-10 p.m. will win $600. Qualifying high hands start at aces full or better.
