Colorado’s casinos generated $93.7 million in December, down 1.4% year-over-year .
According to the latest report from the Colorado Department of Revenue, table games revenue was up 8.3% to $16.1 million, while slot revenue was down 3.2% to $77.6 million.
Reported by region rather than by individual casino, the numbers show that only one area saw year-over-year revenue growth.
For Cripple Creek, revenue rose 2.5% to $16.1 million. Slot revenue rose by 3.7% to $15.3 million. Table games revenue declined by 16.1% to $810,760.
Central City saw the most significant year-over-year decline of 14.7%, with revenue falling to $5.4 million. Table games and slots saw revenue declines, with slots down 14.2% to $5.3 million, and table games down 36.5% to $104,209.
The largest revenue generator in the state was Black Hawk, which saw revenue decline 1% to $72.2 million. Slots revenue fell by 3.7% to just less than $57 million. Table games revenue increased 10.6% to $15.2 million.
