Industry event organizer Clarion Gaming released a video that features a virtual tour and exhibitor orientation ahead of the ICE and iGB Affiliate shows that are scheduled for January.
The 10-minute film is anchored by Stuart Hunter, managing director of Clarion Gaming, who guides viewers through the Fira Barcelona exhibition center and shows the exhibition area spread across five halls the shows will occupy. It also introduces the surrounding facilities, including the Fira Gran Via metro station, which is about 7 miles from the El Prat International Airport and about 2 miles from Barcelona’s city center.
“As a team, we could not be more excited about the opportunities offered by our new home at Gran Via and the new host city of Barcelona. The film sets out the size of the opportunity that we have as an industry and shares a compelling vision of what’s possible,” Hunter said.
Clarion noted that the ICE and iGB Affiliate events will take place in Halls 2-5 and Hall 1, respectively. The shows will be spread across an area of about 120,000 square meters – nearly 30 acres – of the Gran Via. An option for additional space of 160,000 square meters has been reserved for the show throughout a five-year contract.
After a 12-year tenure in the Excel London exhibition center, and prior to that being held for several years in Earls Court, the event, which became a milestone for the gambling industry, picked the Catalonian capital from a short list of four finalist cities, including Madrid, Paris and London.
In addition to iCE, the main event that serves as a meeting place for tens of thousands of industry professionals and service providers, the adjacent iGB Affiliate show is aimed at gambling operators and their marketing partners.
