Las Vegas, October 24, 2025 – CDC Gaming, the premier source of news, commentary and analysis for the gaming industry in the Americas, has released the official highlights video from this year’s Day Zero Party — an evening of networking, celebration, and recognition held on Sunday October 5, 2025 at Allē Lounge on 66 inside Resorts World Las Vegas. In partnership with Global Gaming Women (GGW), the reimagined event gathered nearly 200 industry professionals on the eve of G2E 2025, taking place for the first time on the Las Vegas Strip through the generous support of Venue Sponsor, Resorts World Las Vegas.

Held annually since 2017 but reimagined for 2025, the Day Zero Party at Allē Lounge on 66 showcased stunning Strip views and celebrated the 10 Women Rising in Gaming: Class of 2025. This was the second consecutive year CDC Gaming and GGW partnered for this initiative, with all 10 members of the Class of 2025 present at the Day Zero Party where they were celebrated during short ceremony. The highlights video captures the spirit of the evening — from the panoramic setting and lively interactions to the presentation of custom trophies honoring each of the ten women.

The highlight reel also features excerpts from speeches by CDC Gaming Group CEO Andrew W Scott, Resorts World Las Vegas President and CFO Carlos Castro, GGW President and Board Chair Lauren Bates, and CDC Lead Contributor Rege Behe, along with the surprise career tribute to Jim McGlasson, CDC’s retiring Advertising Manager after 56 years in media.

“It was a night to celebrate both individual achievement and industry collaboration,” said Cory Roberts, Publisher of CDC Gaming. “This highlights video captures that sense of connection and community that makes the Sunday before G2E such a special tradition.”

The Day Zero Party marks the first event under the CDC Events banner following CDC Gaming’s merger with Inside Asian Gaming (IAG).
