As Canadian travel continues to take a hit, the number of passengers flying through the Las Vegas airport fell 3.3% in February.

There were 3.88 million passengers flying in and out of Harry Reid International Airport in February, down from 4.01 million in February 2025. Domestic travel fell 2.9%, while the passenger counts for international travel declined 10.9%. For the year, international travel is down 15.4%.

Canadian travel was the reason for the decline of international travel. Two of the biggest carriers were impacted. Westjet fell 27%, while Air Canada fell 23%. For other Canadian airlines, Flair fell 65% and Porter Airlines fell 35%.

Canadian travel to Las Vegas and the rest of the U.S. has fallen off under the Trump Administration over a political fight over tariffs and President Trump’s suggestions to make Canada the 51st state.

Among other international carriers, British Airways rose 4.7% and Korean Airlines went up 2%. Aeromexico rose 6.2%. Virgin Atlantic jumped 11%, while KLM increased 12%.
