With the Super Bowl approaching, British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) is betting that sports fans will want access to in-person betting experiences, with the news the crown corporation is opening two retail PROLINE-branded lounges at its casinos in the coming weeks.
The new sportsbooks at Parq Casino in Vancouver and Chances Casino in Kelowna will offer a full suite of competitive and live odds from BCLC’s PROLINE platform.
Look for more sportsbook lounges at other casinos around the province in the near future, BCLC said in a statement.
Trained sportsbook staff will be available on-site educating players on placing bets using the terminals, and how odds work. Staff can also connect people to the casino’s GameSense advisor for additional support, if need be, and player-health messaging will be displayed all over the lounge and terminals, BCLC said.
Parq Casino, in the heart of downtown Vancouver, is spread over 72,000 square feet, with two floors, and has 600 slot machines and 75 gaming tables. Chances Casino Kelowna is home to nearly 400 slot machines, as well as poker and live table games.
