Caesars Virginia will open a temporary casino starting Monday, May 15.
After a soft opening on Tuesday, with another scheduled for Thursday, Caesars told ABC13 they’re doing these trial runs to make sure they’re ready for the big day.
City Council Member Lee Vogler was at the soft opening on Tuesday. He thinks that folks are really going to enjoy this.
“It’s a lot of fun,” said Vogler. “You’ve got all the slot machines, the table games, food and drinks and just when you walk in, within a few minutes like, you forget you’re in Danville. You think you’re in one of these bigger cities.”
