Wildz has become the first online gambling operator to confirm it has received a license from Finland to work in the country’s newly regulated market.
The Nordic country’s upcoming licensing regime inched one step closer to launch today (15 October) after casino operator Wildz Group reported it has been awarded authorization from Finland’s National Police Board (NPB).
The letter grants the Malta-based business the right to offer gambling services to Finnish players for five years from 1 July 2027.
Wildz CEO Sam Brown said: “Receiving the amazing news of being the first operator to receive a licence in Finland is a welcome reward for all the efforts of the team in the application process.”
