The West Virginia Lottery reported an all-time monthly high for internet casino revenue in March, topping $20 million for the first time.
Operators reported close to $24 million in revenue for March, an 87.1% increase year-over-year. It shattered the previous record of $18.2 million established last December and marked only the third time since launch in July 2020 that it surpassed $15 million.
Drop reached an all-time high of $567.1 million, up 57% from March 2023, crossing the half-billion dollar mark for the second time in state history. That previous high for online casino wagering also was set last December at $501.2 million.
