West Virginia online casinos record second-lowest revenue month of 2023

Though West Virginia continues to churn out impressive online casino revenue totals, it’s hit a bit of a lull. The Mountain State posted $11.6 million in August revenue, the second lowest of any month in 2023.

Even though it was a slower month, West Virginia online casinos got balanced contributions from every operator. September will be a big indicator in seeing how long this down period lasts for online operators within the state.

August’s revenue total is slightly up from July’s $11.4 million. This is the third time in four months where online casino revenue has not exceeded $12 million. Since March’s highest total of $14.3 million, revenue has dipped in the months following:
