A new bill has been introduced into the West Virginia Legislature that would require gambling operators to share player data.
Known as House Bill 5668, the “West Virginia Responsible Gaming and Research Act” would supply anonymous player data to West Virginia University for research.
The data would then provide an updated look at modern day gambling.
Sheila Moran, Director of Marketing and Communications with First Choice Services says much of the data gambling help lines rely on is a national study that is over 20 years old.
