Looking for a place to gamble at night in Taunton? The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe’s First Light Welcome Center, which contains 50 slot machines, is again expanding its hours and will be open as late as midnight on some days, starting June 9, 2025.
According to a written statement from the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe, the Welcome Center will now be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 10 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Welcome Center, which is located on 1 O’Connell Way in Taunton, was previously described in a legal agreement between the tribe and the city as a temporary facility that would be a precursor to a larger casino project. The welcome center currently contains 50 slot machines.
