Great Canadian Entertainment has officially completed the sale of two of its prominent BC casinos to a Vancouver Island First Nation. Casino Nanaimo and Elements Casino Victoria have been acquired by Petroglyph Development Group Ltd. (PDG).
According to a media release, this marks a milestone for both parties and a significant leap toward economic growth for the Snuneymuxw First Nation.
The acquisitions were initially announced in June and September for Casino Nanaimo and Elements Casino Victoria, respectively.
After receiving all the necessary approvals, the acquisition was closed and PDG, a wholly owned entity of the Snuneymuxw First Nation, took over.
