President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit Nevada next week, according to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.
The trip will showcase two of the president’s signature economic policies, ‘no tax on tips’ and ‘no tax on overtime,’ with Tax Day falling on Wednesday, April 15. ‘No tax on tips’ is particularly relevant to the Silver State, given the number of tipped service workers who could benefit.
“You’ll hear a lot from the president about how his policies have benefited the American people,” Leavitt said during a Wednesday press conference. “And I’m proud to report that the president will be traveling next week to the great states of Nevada and Arizona to tout this historic accomplishment over the course of the next week.”
